Family.<\/strong><\/em><br \/><em><strong>As shared by Tammy Williams, Founder of WOSAC Foundation<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<h5>My 18 year old sister died by suicide as a Freshman at UNC-Charlotte in 1995.\u00a0<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"144\" data-end=\"473\">My younger sister was a vibrant light in this world \u2014 <strong data-start=\"198\" data-end=\"246\">smart, outgoing, energetic, and full of love<\/strong>. She was Miss Carver High School, Co-Captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, Senior Class Secretary, a proud member of the Spanish Club, and active in our home church through the Youth and Young Adult Choir and Usher Board.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"557\">She carried herself with purpose and promise. The world was truly hers to conquer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"768\">But in a moment of unimaginable pain \u2014 during the same week we were still learning to live with the loss of our mother just five years earlier \u2014 my sister died by suicide while attending UNC-Charlotte in 1995.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"983\">Her passing is a reminder that even the brightest souls can carry silent burdens. It\u2019s why I continue this work \u2014 to ensure that no one suffers in silence, and that every life has the support and hope it deserves.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div
